Differential digital health uptake at population level is not well-understood. Deployment of universal digital health interventions, including a national smartphone app and online primary care services, allows measurement of digital inequality across a nation. We analysed data for 6356 primary care providers across England, testing association of population characteristics with digital uptake during 2021/2022. We find association between deprivation and reduced uptake, concerning for technologically driven widening of healthcare inequalities.
