In this article, the (G G)-expansion method along with the (G G , 1 G)-expansion method was considered to obtain analytical solutions of fractional order Newell-Whitehead-Segel(FNWS) equation. FNWS equation has paramount significance in nonlinear systems describing different stripe patterns in various surfaces(two-dimensional). The parametric condition influences the periodic solutions, kink solutions , and soliton solutions for the FNWS equation are extracted and classified into hyperbolic, trigono-metric, and rational solutions. The numerical results and their graphical simulations are presented by the use of MATLAB.
